POSTED BY: ADMIN | Subject: Yes, finally an update! This site has been pretty much dead for some time, yes yes, whoopie. Well, for those who are still even checking this, have no fear, because I'm making a new site, and it's a thousand times better than THIS piece of crap. Why? I'll tell you why. Because sites like this never get a fair chance. I'm going to make a site that will link all the small flash sites together, it's a vision something like swashed, only different. By the way, if you haven't gone there yet, I really suggest you use the link in the top-left corner. They had the vision of making one revolutionary site. I have the idea of making, also, a revolutionary site, however, it's power would not stem from itself, but rather it and loads of other flash sites would get power from their unity. No, I don't want to overthrow the sites in place now, I merely want to strengthen them. My reasoning is that if I create a site good enough that people go to it every day, pass it along to their friends, eventually they'll click on the links to other sites. Same with their sites to mine. Yes, the flash community is strong, but it could be stronger. Look at Power-Fusion. Anitude. SFDT. StickSuicide. They've all suffered heavy losses, or even closed entirely, and people are going to them less and less. If this continues, any attempt to revive the community would be like trying to stop an asteroid from smashing into earth. So, don't worry, I may switch hosting services, since I need a forum, but since I'm using a .tk URL, you won't even have to type differently. However... something right neato about if you're reading this, you, yesy YOU, have a chance to become an official animator for Deranged Productions. Basically, the new site is going to have 4 portals. An art and flash portal, firstly, and then that's didvided by 2 again as there are official and public portals. Official portals are for only animations/art that are by registered official flash-ka, to be one you have to be approved by me. If you'd like to submit an application, you may do so by this means:

I'm most definitely going to use it, and I'm also going to change the site's name to a .com domain name, since I don't mind paying the extra $14.95 a year, and I'm not paying for a year's hosting if I have to use a crappy subdomain name. Anyway, so it goes, and I'll be sure to keep this site up, but when I change it over I'll blankify this site and just put a link to the new. | |
POSTED BY: ADMIN | Subject: Looka me, I have a site! Hey, I got a site so :-P I rule! I'm currently learning PHP so I'm still in the process of making a forum and movie upload page. Any movies will be taken so long as they are made in flash and take up less than 3 MB of space. Why the 3 meg limit? Well, see I have almost no space here. And some people make crappy movies that are like 20 MB in size. There are exceptions to this rule. If your movie is amazing, it can be any number of MB. But to exceed 3 MB, it must be godlike. Also, DO NOT even think about submitting porn or racist animations, because I am not going to put them on this site. Currently, you CAN send me movies that you wish to submit, but you must do so by email. You can do this from the Submit page from the animated link above. Keeping in mnd any submitted movies do become my property, but I WILL NOT use them in any way except for putting them on this site. You 'ave my word there. Keep in mind that movies must be the .swf format, not .fla. Like a lot of other sites, .gif animations will not be accepted purely because they are huge and cannot do many things that .swf's can, ie sound, buttons, loaders, etc. Anyway, please send any comments you have (or php or cgi scripts for that matter :-D) to Fatso2k1@yahoo.com. | |
